The 7" Touchscreen LCD Display for the Raspberry Pi is a wonderful display. For some applications, having the Raspberry Pi mounted to the back of the display is just not convenient.
Here is an alternative mounting method using custom designed printed circuit boards.
One printed circuit board acts like a HAT for the Raspberry PI.
The second printed circuit board attaches to the LCD just the PI would.
The supplied ribbon cable is 18 " long.
A typical application would be where the LCD may be mounted on a door of an enclosure and the RPi mounted internally - this is perfect for applications using the PI-SPI-DIN series of modules.
Both modules have Blue Power LED's and come complete with headers and an extra flex cable.
