Raspberry Pi 7" LCD Display Ribbon Cable Extension Kit

The 4100/10PCB Ribbon Cable Extension Kit allows the Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen LCD Display to be mounted up to 18" away from the Raspberry Pi.

The kit consists of the following:

• VPE-4100A Printed Circuit Board for the 7" display
• VPE-4110A Printed Circuit Board for the Raspberry Pi
• 18" 26 Pin Ribbon Cable
• Mounting Hardware for the Raspberry Pi
• Qty. 1 Flex cable for the Raspberry Pi

This is the perfect addition for the PI-SPI-DIN series where the LCD Display has to be mounted on an enclosure door and the Raspberry Pi mounted on a DIN rail.

Installation:

Step 1. Open up the Raspberry Pi 7" Display (Customer purchases this Newark)

Step 2: The 7" LCD comes with the LCD, Flex Cable, Power Wires and mounting screws

Step 3: Attache the VPE-4100A PCB the display and attach the Flex cable as shown:

Step 4: The rest of the kit contains the VPE-4110 PCB, short Flex Cable, 4 spacers and screws as shown. This example is shown for a PI-SPI-DIN application.

Step 5: Remove the ribbon cable and mounting screws form the RPi, install the supplied spacers and short Flex cable as shown.

Step 6: Attach the VPE-4110A PCB and attach the ribbon cable from the PI-SPI-DIN-RTC-RS845 as shown. Attach the Flex cable.

Step 7: Connect the supplied 18" 26 pin ribbon cable between the LCD VPE-4100A PCB and the RPi VPE-4110A PCB
